About this fabric

The image shows a dense chenille weave in a deep blue-charcoal ground, broken by closely spaced flecks of taupe and muted stone. That dark, cool base gives ELB3545 a grounded, quietly graphic appearance, while the nubby yarn catches light in tiny alternating highlights rather than a smooth sheen. At 138cm wide, it is made from 94% polyester and 6% acrylic and is graded for contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable, with Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy and the option to be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Use ELB3545 on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cool charcoal-blue base can anchor a room without reading as flat black. Pick up the woven taupe-grey flecks with stone, slate or softened timber tones for a balanced upholstery scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
