About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a close, even surface with a subtly mottled blue-grey tone rather than a printed motif. The charcoal base reads cool and smoky, while the nap creates gentle shifts between darker and lighter patches across the swatch. Rated for domestic upholstery, it is machine washable and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade in addition to its domestic cigarette-and-match flame retardancy. The restrained colour and low-contrast texture give the fabric a smart, quietly tailored finish.

How to use it

Use this cool charcoal blue-grey on a sofa, headboard or dining chair where its soft velvet nap can add depth without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with pale stone, chalky white or muted blue-grey accents to keep the scheme crisp and tonal.
