About this fabric

The dense velvet pile shows a gently mottled surface, with smoky charcoal highlights interrupting the otherwise near-black ground. Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide fabric is listed as contract-grade upholstery. It is machine washable, making it practical for upholstered pieces that require straightforward aftercare. The listed Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame-retardancy option can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Use this near-black charcoal colourway on a statement sofa, headboard or dining chair when you want a room to feel deeper and more intimate. Pair its light-catching pile with pale timber, warm metal or soft neutrals to prevent the dark tone from feeling flat.
