About this fabric

This 100% polyester velvet is 138cm wide and rated Contract for upholstery. Its near-charcoal ground is softened by smoky green-grey variation, giving the colour a deep, atmospheric quality rather than a flat black appearance. Fine vertical pile lines are visible across the swatch, while the nap creates subtle tonal changes through the surface. It is machine washable, and its Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-teal velvet on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool depth can anchor pale stone, warm timber and brushed metal. Its softly shifting pile also suits a darker, cocooning room scheme without introducing a strong pattern.

A dark, softly mottled velvet that brings depth to contemporary upholstery and statement seating.
