About this fabric

This Morris & Co. velvet has a 416 gsm weight and a 135 cm useable width, making it well suited to upholstered furniture. Its 52 cm vertical and 68 cm horizontal repeat creates a continuous field of lilies, scrolling stems, leaves and smaller florals across the cloth. The colourway combines dark blue-green with mint and sage foliage, softly golden flowers and restrained pink accents, so the pattern reads richly rather than brightly. A thread count of 57.7 threads per centimetre and a standard length of 60 metres complete the supplied specification for this design.

How to use it

Use Galactic Ink on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its deep blue-green ground can anchor a room. Pick up the pale gold flowers with warm timber or brass, while dusty pink cushions can echo the smaller blossoms without competing with the dense repeat.
