Viva Ink Colibri

Viva Ink Colibri has a deep ink-teal character, moving from near-black lowlights to cool blue-green highlights across the curved upholstery. The plush surface gives this colourway a particularly rich, enveloping presence.

About this fabric

The image shows a plain, velvet-like fabric with a visibly plush pile and subtle tonal variation rather than a printed motif. Its dark ink base absorbs light in the recessed seams, while the raised curves catch cool teal and blue-green sheen. The heavy upholstered form shown here makes it best suited to seating and other hard-working furniture applications. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Viva Ink Colibri on a statement sofa or deep armchair where its dark blue-green tone can anchor warm stone, aged timber and softly lit interiors. Keep surrounding textiles tactile and restrained so the pile's changing highlights remain the focus.

The deep ink-teal tone and plush, shifting pile bring moody luxe depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

Viva Ink Colibri is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
