About this fabric

This 416gsm velvet is patterned with yellow citrus, apricot and coral fruit, pink-purple flower heads, and curling leaves in pale green and olive tones. Against the almost-black background, the warm fruit colours appear especially vivid while the darker ground keeps the overall impression moody rather than sugary. The design has a 62cm vertical repeat and 67cm horizontal repeat, creating a clearly readable medium-scale botanical across the cloth. With a 133.5cm usable width, it provides a substantial panel of pattern for upholstery work.

How to use it

Use the near-black and olive base to anchor a statement armchair or sofa, then pick up the lemon-yellow and coral accents with cushions, painted wood or warm metal details. It also suits a dramatic headboard where the dense fruit pattern can be seen at close range.
