Sasha Charcoal
Sasha FabricL9461-11
Sasha Charcoal reads as a deep, near-black plain mohair with a soft, low sheen that absorbs light beautifully. Its surface looks dense and plush, giving the colourway a very pared-back, tailored feel.

About this fabric
This colourway is made from 100% mohair and has a plain, no-repeat design, so the visual effect comes entirely from the pile and the way the charcoal shade shifts in the light. At approximately 138cm wide, it is a practical upholstery cloth, and the care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BH are supplied for specification reference. The tone is a very dark charcoal with only the faintest softening at the highlights, which keeps it feeling refined rather than harsh black. The finish looks velvety and substantial, making it especially suited to pieces where you want depth, touchability and a clean, contemporary outline.
How to use it
Use Sasha Charcoal on a sofa, ottoman or dining chair to anchor a room with a calm, architectural note. It pairs especially well with pale oak, stone, parchment and brushed metal finishes, where the dark mohair can read as quietly luxurious.
A sleek, almost-black mohair that gives upholstery a rich, tailored depth.

Pairs well with
Sasha Charcoal is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
