Marchwood Wallpaper Black

Jardine Florals W/P Wallpaper07976-05

Marchwood Wallpaper Black pairs a deep charcoal-black ground with sweeping branches, ivory magnolia-like flowers and softly muted brown-gold foliage. The pale blooms stand out with a painterly, almost luminous contrast against the dark background.

About this fabric

The large ivory flowers are spaced across branching stems, with layered petals and lightly shaded centres that give the design a hand-painted depth. Sepia-brown leaves and stems soften the starkness of the black ground, while the restrained palette keeps the overall effect sophisticated rather than bright. This wallcovering has a vertical repeat of 61cm on a half drop and an approximate horizontal repeat of 52cm. Made from 100% Paper, it is a decorative wallcovering with a strongly scaled floral arrangement.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-black colourway in a dining room, study or bedroom where its ivory blooms can act as a dramatic backdrop. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and oatmeal upholstery to draw out the sepia foliage without competing with the flowers.

Use this dramatic black floral paper to bring depth and a quietly romantic, antique-inspired character to a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
