About this fabric

This colourway reads as a very dark charcoal-black rather than a flat jet black, with fine horizontal striations visible in the weave. The surface has a dry, understated texture that catches the light just enough to reveal movement across the cloth. It is made from 100% polyester and has a 140cm width, with a 0cm pattern repeat for easy matching. The strong, even darkness gives it a crisp, tailored look that feels more refined than glossy. Care instructions are NQT1<.

How to use it

Use this shade to anchor contemporary upholstery, where its low-key texture will add depth without drawing attention away from the shape of the piece. It also suits stark contrast schemes with pale walls, warm timber and metallic accents.

A sleek dark neutral that works well on tailored seating or dramatic soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
