Belvoir Recycled Noir

Grosvenor Fabric

Belvoir Recycled Noir is an almost pure black fabric with a very deep, matte look that reads sleek and understated in the swatch. The surface appears smooth and even, with just enough softness in the finish to stop the colour feeling harsh.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% recycled polyester, Belvoir Recycled Noir is supplied as a 150cm-wide fabric with a 0cm pattern repeat and QV1 care instructions. In this colourway, the black sits at the darkest end of the spectrum, with a subtle charcoal softness in the light rather than a glossy sheen. The plain construction keeps the effect restrained and modern, so the visual interest comes from the depth of the noir tone and the gentle surface texture. It is a strong choice when you want a fabric that feels crisp, clean and quietly dramatic without any visible motif.

How to use it

This noir works well on structured chairs, dining seats or a slim sofa where its dark tone can sharpen pale walls and lighter woods. Pair it with warm brass, oak or ivory upholstery details to keep the scheme grounded rather than severe.

Use it for clean-lined seating or tailored headboards where the dark, even finish can anchor the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
