Kensington Aubergine from the Brodsworth collection by Fryett's Fabrics is a 100% polyester fabric with a 140cm width and no pattern repeat, making it straightforward to cut and use. The swatch reads as a deep aubergine-plum shade, with low, even sheen and a slightly brushed or woven look that softens the darkness of the colour. Fine horizontal striations are visible in the surface, giving the fabric a restrained sense of movement without introducing a printed motif. The overall effect is smart and moody rather than bright, with the colour appearing almost black in shadow and richer purple where the light catches it.
How to use it
