About this fabric
This colourway reads as a dark, earthy check, with ebony brown grounding the weave and lighter oat-beige threads lifting the pattern. The effect is compact and highly textural, with the small repeat of approx. V 2cm / H 2cm creating a neat, rhythmic surface across the width. Woven in 42% Jute, 20% Cotton, 19% Viscose, 10% Linen and 9% Polyester, it has the natural dry character of bast fibres balanced by a cleaner, more controlled cloth structure. At approx. 146cm wide, it is a practical upholstery textile with a smart, understated finish; care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Ugi Ebony on a chair, ottoman or bench where the small check can read from a distance without feeling busy. It pairs especially well with walnut wood, blackened metal and warm neutrals that echo the fabric’s earthy depth.
