Ugi Linen

Remi FabricL9437-05

Ugi Linen presents a finely worked small check with a dry, textured hand and a soft flax-beige appearance. The pattern reads quietly from a distance, then resolves into a neat woven grid up close.

About this fabric

This fabric sits at 146cm wide approximately and has a compact repeat of 2cm vertical by 2cm horizontal, which gives the surface its ordered, basket-like rhythm. The composition combines 42% jute with cotton, viscose, linen and polyester, and that blend is visible in the slightly rustic grain paired with a smoother, lighter catch on the raised threads. In this colourway, the palette stays close to warm sand, oat and linen tones, so the check feels gentle rather than graphic. It is a natural-looking neutral with enough texture to add depth, but not so much contrast that it overpowers a room.

How to use it

Use Ugi Linen where you want a grounded neutral with more character than a plain weave—on a sofa, bench or relaxed armchair it will soften sharper lines. Its warm beige tones also work well with timber, clay and other natural materials, especially in calm, layered interiors.

A softly textured neutral that brings warmth without dominating a scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ugi Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
