Horta Bark

Paxton FabricL9240-05

Horta Bark shows Paxton’s geometric motif in a soft bark-toned beige that reads warm and quietly textural. The repeating diamond grid and fine linear detailing give the fabric a tailored, architectural feel.

About this fabric

Horta Bark is a textile fabric from Larsen’s Paxton collection with a repeat of approximately V 24cm and H 35cm, and a width of approximately 138cm. Its composition blends 27% acrylic, 25% viscose, 19% polyester, 15% cotton and 14% linen, with care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K. In this colourway, the ground sits in a warm beige-brown bark tone, while the motif is picked out in a slightly deeper, charcoal-tinted line that keeps the pattern crisp without feeling stark. The woven surface has a dry, lightly nubby handle and a subtle matte finish, which suits the disciplined geometry of the design.

How to use it

Use Horta Bark on an upholstered armchair, banquette or headboard where the medium-scale repeat can show clearly. Its earthy beige tone works especially well with oak, walnut, putty and soft black accents.

A tailored beige geometric that brings quiet texture and structure to seating or cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Horta Bark without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
