Edo Linen

Remi FabricL9417-01

Edo Linen shows a soft linen-beige ground scattered with neat ivory dots, giving the fabric a light, quietly textured look. The small-scale spot reads relaxed and fresh rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Edo Linen has a 130cm approximate width and a vertical repeat of 0cm with an approximate horizontal repeat of 130cm. The cloth has a natural, lightly slubbed linen-like surface that lets the pale dot motif sit clearly against the warm beige ground. The off-white spots are evenly spaced but slightly irregular in feel, which keeps the design from looking too crisp or formal. Its cotton composition and moderate visual weight make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery use where a softer, natural finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use this colourway to soften pale woods, rattan and chalky painted furniture, or pair it with warm white linen for a quiet layered scheme. The beige ground keeps the polka dot effect understated, so it works especially well in relaxed bedrooms, snug seating and informal curtains.

A calm, easy polka dot that sits neatly in casual living rooms or light drapery schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Edo Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
