Horta Tobacco

Paxton FabricL9240-04

Horta Tobacco shows a warm, earthy brown ground with a woven geometric pattern that reads clearly across the surface. The design feels textured and ordered, with the tobacco tone bringing depth without becoming too dark.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in a geometric layout with small raised linear motifs and a visible textile grain that gives the pattern extra definition. The colourway combines tobacco brown, beige and muted tan, so the surface feels warm and slightly rustic rather than glossy. It is made from 27% Acrylic, 25% Viscose, 19% Polyester, 15% Cotton and 14% Linen, giving it a balanced, mixed-fibre handle. With a width of approximately 138cm and a repeat of V 24cm / H 35cm approx, it is well suited to furnishing pieces where the pattern needs to align neatly. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K should be followed for specification purposes.

How to use it

Use Horta Tobacco with pale plaster, natural oak and saddle-leather accents to emphasise its warm brown depth. It also pairs neatly with woven textures and other muted earth tones for a layered, tailored scheme.

Works well on tailored upholstery or structured curtains for a warm, polished finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Horta Tobacco without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
