About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 40% cotton, 25% wool, 15% polyester, 12% acrylic and 8% viscose, Paxton has the substance and handle of a versatile decorative fabric. The design repeats at approximately 21cm vertically and 18cm horizontally, creating a neat, ordered grid of small rust-orange marks across the width. In this colourway, the ground reads creamy and gently textured, while the orange detailing feels earthy rather than bright, giving the cloth a warm, relaxed character. At approximately 142cm wide and with fire code K, it suits a broad range of interior projects where a patterned fabric with body is required.

How to use it

Use Paxton Spice on occasional chairs, cushions or Roman blinds where the cream base can keep the room light. It works especially well with oak, walnut and muted stone finishes, which flatter the earthy orange tone.

Pair with natural woods and soft neutrals to let the warm spice tone glow.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
