Mariam Copper

Tera FabricL9464-04

Mariam Copper has a softly textural, linen-rich look with a warm bronze-copper glow running through the cloth. The surface reads as a fine, vertical slub weave rather than a flat solid, giving the colourway quiet movement.

About this fabric

This colourway combines 54% linen with polyacrylic, viscose and polyester, creating a fabric that keeps the natural, slightly irregular character visible in the weave. The swatch shows a warm copper-brown ground lifted by lighter taupe and bronze flecks, so the overall effect is earthy rather than bright. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the design relies on texture and tonal variation instead of pattern. At approx. 151cm wide, it offers good coverage for upholstery projects as well as drapery where a structured, softly dry hand is wanted. The result is a smart, versatile fabric with an understated metallic warmth.

How to use it

Pair Mariam Copper with oak, walnut and matte black details for a grounded scheme, or use it beside ivory and sand tones to let the copper warmth feel softer. It works especially well in rooms that need colour without shouting, because the finish reads rich and mellow rather than shiny.

Use for relaxed seating or elegant curtains where a warm metallic note is wanted.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
