Tavo Ebony

Tera FabricL9454-04

Tavo Ebony is a finely woven dark neutral with a subtle slubbed texture and a softly mottled surface. In this colourway, the brown reads deep and earthy rather than black, with lighter threads lifting the weave.

About this fabric

Woven in a 41% Linen, 31% Cotton, 12% Wool, 8% Viscose, 6% Polyamide and 2% Polyester blend, Tavo Ebony has a tactile, dry hand and a compact cloth structure. The fabric is approximately 139cm wide with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, so the texture comes entirely from the weave rather than any visible pattern. Its ebony tone is a layered brown-black mix, softened by the linen and cotton content into a nuanced, matte finish. The close weave and gentle surface variation give it a refined, grounded look that suits both tailored upholstery and fuller window treatments. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Tavo Ebony to anchor pale timber, stone and chalky neutrals, where its warm depth adds contrast without looking harsh. It is especially effective on clean-lined seating or relaxed curtains that need a darker, smarter finish.

A warm dark neutral that works beautifully across tailored upholstery and understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
