Tavo Linen reads as a calm, softly variegated beige with a gentle linen-look texture. Its fine horizontal striation gives the surface a subtle rhythm without introducing a visible pattern.

About this fabric

Part of Larsen’s Tera collection, Tavo Linen is a fabric with a 139cm approx width and no repeat, making it straightforward to use across tailored pieces. The cloth blends 41% linen, 31% cotton, 12% wool, 8% viscose, 6% polyamide and 2% polyester, which helps explain its natural, slightly dry handle and softly mottled appearance. In this colourway, the tone sits in a warm sand-beige range with pale oatmeal highlights and a very gentle heathered depth. The result is relaxed and light rather than stark, with enough texture to keep the surface from looking flat.

How to use it

This understated beige works especially well on relaxed upholstery, slipcovers or fixed seating where its grainy surface can soften sharper room lines. It also makes an easy drapery choice in a neutral scheme, adding warmth without competing with timber, stone or painted finishes.

A quiet neutral that brings a natural, softly textured finish to clean-lined furniture or understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
