About this fabric

This colourway sits between sand and almond, with a muted clay warmth that feels lighter than terracotta and softer than tan. The visible weave is open and linen-led, and the fine horizontal striations catch the light without looking glossy. Supplied at approximately 330cm wide, it is designed for large-scale furnishing and allows generous drops with fewer joins. The repeat is approximately V 36cm / H 19cm, which gives the cloth a measured, repeating rhythm rather than a flat solid. Made from 96% Linen and 4% Polyester, it combines a natural handle with a little added stability; care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are specified for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Taiga Clay for full-length curtains, soft blinds, or relaxed upholstery where a warm neutral is needed without looking stark. Its gentle clay-beige tone works especially well with oak, plaster pinks, and chalky whites.

A soft, wide-width linen look that brings an easy, natural warmth to tailored or casual schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
