Tendo Clay

Timo FabricL9442-01

Tendo Clay shows a softly textured cream ground with a muted clay dot pattern that reads warm and understated. The small-scale vertical motif gives the fabric a calm, rhythmic surface with gentle depth.

About this fabric

This Timo by Larsen fabric is composed of 54% Virgin Wool, 24% Viscose, 13% Polyamide and 9% Polyester, with an approximate width of 120cm and a repeat of V 3cm / H 3cm. In this colourway, the ground appears like a warm cream with a subtle beige cast, while the raised dotted motif sits just a shade deeper in soft clay taupe. The woven surface has a dry, softly tactile look rather than a glossy finish, which helps the pattern feel natural and restrained. Its balanced weight and textile structure make it well suited to both upholstery and drapery where a gentle pattern is wanted without high contrast. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Tendo Clay with pale oak, linen, and putty-toned upholstery to keep the room airy but not stark. Its warm clay-cream colouring also works well against aged brass and muted stone finishes.

The soft clay tone keeps the pattern calm and easy to layer in light, natural interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tendo Clay without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
