Tokyo Straw
Tokyo FabricL9440-08
Tokyo Straw is a softly glowing straw cream with a fine, even weave and a gently matte surface. The colour reads warm and pale, with a relaxed linen-like character that keeps it from feeling stark.

About this fabric
Tokyo Straw from Larsen’s Tokyo collection is a 147cm-wide fabric with a composition of 46% Cotton, 29% Viscose, 14% Linen and 11% Polyester. The cloth has no visible pattern repeat, just a subtle horizontal texture that gives the surface a calm, tailored feel. In this colourway the tone is a warm straw cream with a slightly toasted undertone, so it feels softer than white and more grounded than ivory. The finish catches light delicately across the weave, adding a gentle depth without introducing contrast or sheen.
How to use it
Use Tokyo Straw for upholstery or relaxed curtains where you want a warm neutral that won’t overpower the room. It sits particularly well with pale oak, tan leather and chalky paint colours.
A warm, easy neutral that layers quietly with timber, linen and softer earth tones.

Pairs well with
Tokyo Straw is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
