Tokyo Snow

Tokyo FabricL9440-01

Tokyo Snow is a quiet, near-white colourway with a soft snowy ivory cast and a subtle textile grain visible across the surface. Its light, even finish gives the cloth a clean, calm presence without reading stark or flat.

About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 46% cotton, 29% viscose, 14% linen and 11% polyester, Tokyo Snow has the natural-looking texture you can see in the fine, horizontal slub and softly diffused surface. The fabric is approximately 147cm wide and has a plain repeat, which suits its restrained, uninterrupted appearance. The tone sits in a warm ivory-white range rather than a cool optic white, so it feels gentler in daylight and slightly softer in shade. With no visible pattern to interrupt the cloth, the focus stays on the airy weave and the subtle depth created by the mixed fibres. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Tokyo Snow where you want brightness without harshness: it suits relaxed drapes, upholstered seating and layered schemes in pale timber, stone and linen. The soft ivory base is especially effective in north-facing rooms, where its warmth helps lift the light.

A quiet ivory that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or light-filtering curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
