Colefax and Fowler

Liliana Silver

Liliana Silver is a light, sheer fabric with a creamy white ground and trailing embroidered foliage in soft silver-grey. Tiny blue-toned buds give the design a cool, frosted lift that keeps it feeling fresh rather than sugary.

About this fabric

Part of the Liliana Sheers collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric has a 128cm approximate width and is woven from 54% linen, 35% viscose and 11% polyester. The ground reads as pale silver-white, with a fine linen look and a soft, airy transparency that suits curtains and layered window dressing. The repeated vine motif appears in muted grey-beige embroidery, while scattered small blue accents add a delicate, almost hand-tinted detail. Its overall effect is refined and quietly decorative, with enough texture to catch the light without looking heavy.

How to use it

Use Liliana Silver at the window where you want daylight to stay bright but softened, especially in bedrooms, sitting rooms or a calm dining space. It pairs well with chalk whites, pale oak and cooler stone tones, letting the subtle blue notes read as a quiet accent.

A sheer, airy floral that softens a room with cool silver-white elegance.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Liliana Silver without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
