Florinda Sheer Old Blue

Liliana Sheers FabricF4814-02

Florinda Sheer in Old Blue shows a pale, airy ground with a trailing botanical embroidery in soft blue-grey tones. The design reads delicate and fresh, with enough detail to give the sheer a quiet decorative presence.

About this fabric

This sheer is composed of 59% Linen, 34% Viscose and 7% Polyester, giving it a light, fluid handle that suits curtains and other window treatments. The swatch shows a translucent off-white ground with vertical trailing vines, small floral motifs and leaf shapes worked in a muted old blue and grey-blue palette. Its 140cm approximate width and 30cm vertical by 35cm horizontal repeat suggest a patterned sheer that hangs elegantly while still admitting plenty of light. The embroidery-like detailing feels crisp rather than heavy, so the overall effect is refined and airy rather than dense or ornate.

How to use it

Use this old-blue colourway where you want pattern on the window but a very pale, calm finish against the glass. It pairs neatly with chalky whites, silvered woods and soft blue-painted joinery.

A restrained old-blue sheer that adds pattern without losing lightness.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
