Selena Blue

Leonora FabricF4655-02

Selena Blue shows a pale misty blue ground with a trailing floral design in soft ivory and green. The overall effect is airy and restrained, with the pattern sitting gently against the background rather than shouting for attention.

About this fabric

This colourway from Colefax and Fowler’s Leonora collection is woven in 72% Linen and 28% Viscose, giving the cloth a lightly textured, elegant handle that suits curtains particularly well. The ground is a cool, powdery blue, and the flowers read in creamy ivory with olive-green leaves and slender stems, creating a soft botanical contrast. At approx. 126cm wide with a vertical repeat of 58cm and horizontal repeat of 63cm, the pattern has enough scale to register clearly across full-length drapes. The finish feels calm and polished rather than bright, with the blue lending the design a gentle freshness.

How to use it

Use it for full-length curtains, Roman blinds or a relaxed upholstered accent piece where the soft blue ground can lift the room. It works especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and muted sage tones.

Pair with pale woods and soft whites for a fresh, quietly elegant scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
