Meriden Blue

Leonora FabricF4663-02

Meriden Blue shows the Leonora floral in a pale, powdery blue ground with airy cream blooms and softly washed green foliage. The overall effect is light, elegant and quietly romantic rather than strongly contrasty.

About this fabric

This colourway has a cool, misted blue ground that lets the large-scale flowers sit gently across the surface. The blossoms read in ivory and warm cream with soft sage-green leaves, giving the design a fresh but restrained look. Woven in 60% Linen, 30% Cotton and 10% Polyamide, it has the natural softness and slight textural character you would expect from a decorative cloth of this type. The repeat is V 62cm (Half drop) / H 91cm approx, and the width is 138cm approx, making it suitable for broader runs where the pattern can open out well.

How to use it

Use it for relaxed smart upholstery or statement drapery where the soft blue ground can bring calm to a room. It works especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and muted greens, which echo the fabric’s cool, spring-like palette.

Pair with ivory linens and pale timber for a fresh, understated scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Meriden Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
