Viviers Old Blue

Leonora FabricF4653-02

Viviers Old Blue has a softly washed, powder-blue ground with delicate trailing stems and small pale blossoms drifting across the surface. The motif feels airy and graceful, with the olive-green leaves giving the design a fresh, lightly botanical finish.

About this fabric

This fabric is a textile from the Leonora collection by Colefax and Fowler, made in 81% linen and 19% viscose with an approximate width of 121cm and a repeat of V 40cm / H 60cm. The colourway reads as a cool, misty blue rather than a strong denim tone, which keeps the floral sprigs looking crisp and understated. Fine vertical slubbing in the ground adds to the linen character, while the viscose lends a smoother, slightly softer appearance to the finish. The trailing stems and small hanging blooms are picked out in muted green and cream, so the overall effect stays calm and breathable rather than busy. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for decorative interiors where a refined printed fabric is wanted.

How to use it

Use it for relaxed curtains, blinds, or paired upholstered pieces where the pale blue ground can lift the room without overpowering it. It sits especially well with painted whites, washed woods, and other soft green-blue accents.

A gentle blue ground with trailing stems that suits calm, classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
