About this fabric

Viviers Blue/Green from the Leonora collection by Colefax and Fowler is woven in a 44% linen, 36% cotton and 20% viscose blend, with a width of approximately 120cm and a repeat of V 38cm / H 60cm. The surface reads as a clean, lightly textured cloth rather than a heavy weave, which suits its gentle botanical drawing. In this colourway, the ground is a pale cream with a faint warmth, while the trailing stems and leaves are picked out in soft olive green and the flowers in washed blue with a slight lilac cast. The overall effect is quiet and elegant, with enough movement in the repeat to feel decorative without becoming busy.
