Bute Cream

Liliana Sheers FabricF4029-05

Bute Cream is a light, airy sheer with a softly luminous cream tone that reads warm rather than stark. In the image it hangs in gentle folds, with a faint linen slub visible through the translucent ground.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a delicate warm cream with subtle golden undertones, giving the cloth a soft, sunlit look as it falls. The fabric is composed of 63% linen and 37% polyester, and the 288cm approximate width makes it especially practical for wide curtains and generous drops. Its plain, unpatterned appearance and 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat keep the focus on the natural texture and the way light passes through the weave. The surface has a fine, dry linen character that feels crisp yet fluid, ideal for a sheer drapery application. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for reference.

How to use it

Use Bute Cream where you want daylight to stay soft and flattering, especially in rooms with honeyed wood, stone, or pale painted finishes. Its warm cream tone layers beautifully with richer neutrals and adds a gentle glow without visual weight.

A softly glowing sheer that brings warmth without heaviness.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
