Cecile Ivory

Woven in 85% linen and 15% polyester, this sheer has the natural slub and relaxed handle you would expect from a linen-rich drapery cloth, with a little added stability from the polyester content. The 126cm approx width makes it suitable for elegant curtain drops, and the vertical repeat of 16cm with a horizontal repeat of 31cm approx gives the stripe a measured, graceful rhythm. In this Ivory colourway, the ground is warm-white rather than bright white, while the embroidered motif is barely-there beige, so the overall effect is soft, tonal and quietly decorative. The light passes through the fabric beautifully, allowing the pattern to remain visible without ever feeling heavy.

Use Cecile Ivory where you want daylight to be softened but not shut out, especially in rooms with limewashed walls, pale timber and upholstered pieces in stone or putty. It works well for curtains, café panels or relaxed full-length drapes where the subtle ivory-on-ivory palette can keep the room feeling calm and lifted.
