Sakai White

Timo FabricL9436-01

Sakai White reads as a soft ivory sheer with a calm, airy presence and a gently textured linen look. In this colourway, the pattern sits close to the surface and catches the light with a quiet, washed softness.

About this fabric

This Larsen Timo fabric is composed of 94% Linen and 6% Polyester, with a width of approximately 295cm and a repeat of V 92cm / H 98cm approx. The cloth shown here feels light and fluid, with a fine open weave that gives the vertical pattern a subtle, architectural rhythm rather than a bold contrast. Sakai White is an ivory-leaning white with a warm cream cast, so it softens daylight instead of reading stark or blue-white. The overall effect is sheer, relaxed and refined, with enough body to hang neatly in wide curtains and enough texture to stop it feeling flat. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Sakai White for full-height curtains, layered sheers or relaxed bedroom drapes where the warm white tone can brighten the room without glare. It pairs well with pale oak, limewashed walls and soft neutral upholstery.

Use where you want a quietly luminous, easy neutral with a soft natural drape.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sakai White without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
