Ogata Clay

Timo FabricL9434-02

Ogata Clay is a softly coloured linen with a calm, sun-warmed look and a gentle woven texture that gives the surface quiet depth. In this colourway, the design reads as a muted clay cream rather than a stark neutral.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Ogata Clay has a natural, relaxed handle that suits soft window treatments and loose, tactile interior layers. The fabric is approximately 147cm wide, with a repeat of V 65cm / H 49cm approx, and the repeating structure is visible as a subtle grid-like texture across the cloth. This colourway sits between cream and pale clay, with a warm, slightly earthy cast that catches the light without looking glossy. The draped swatch shows an easy, fluid fall and a gentle surface variation that feels refined rather than heavy. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for the cloth.

How to use it

Use Ogata Clay where you want natural light to feel softened, such as full-length curtains, relaxed blinds or layered sheers. Its warm cream tone works especially well with pale timber, chalky plaster and tonal linen upholstery.

Warm, understated and airy, ideal for relaxed curtains or soft room layers.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
