Sakai Cream

Timo FabricL9436-02

Sakai Cream is a softly luminous cream colourway with a barely-there woven grid and a relaxed, airy drape. The pale ground reads warm rather than stark, with faint linear detailing visible through the folds.

About this fabric

From Larsen’s Timo collection, Sakai Cream is composed of 94% Linen and 6% Polyester, with a width of approximately 295cm and a repeat of V 92cm / H 98cm approx. The fabric shows a broad, quietly graphic check-like pattern softened by the translucent fall of the cloth, so the motif sits in the background rather than dominating the surface. Its cream ivory tone has a gentle warmth that catches the light softly, while the linen content gives it a natural, slightly textural appearance. The overall effect is light, calm and understated, with enough presence to frame a window without feeling heavy.

How to use it

This colourway suits full-length curtains where the pale cream can brighten a room while the woven lines add subtle structure. It pairs especially well with blond timber, chalky paint shades and relaxed natural upholstery.

Use it for airy curtains with a gentle woven grid that keeps a room feeling light.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sakai Cream without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
