Osao Sand

Timo FabricL9443-02

Osao Sand has a quiet, sun-warmed beige ground lifted by broad, painterly stripes in a softer sandy tone. The effect is airy and textural, with the weave reading clearly through the lighter areas.

About this fabric

Woven in 47% linen, 46% cotton and 7% polyester, this Larsen fabric has the natural handle and dry look of a linen-rich cloth with enough stability for everyday use. The repeat is listed as V 60cm / H 149cm approx, and the 149cm approx width makes the stripe layout feel expansive across the cloth. In this colourway, the sand and oatmeal tones stay muted rather than yellow, so the pattern feels calm, brushed and softly sun-faded. The visible surface has a gently irregular texture that catches the light without looking shiny, which suits both relaxed upholstery and soft drapery use.

How to use it

Use Osao Sand to warm up a pale interior, especially alongside limestone, chalky white and blonde wood. It works particularly well when you want a broad stripe that feels understated rather than nautical.

Pair with warm neutrals and pale timber to keep the stripe feeling easy and light.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Osao Sand without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
