Tera Clay

Tera FabricL9453-02

Tera Clay is a quietly textured woven with a warm, sunbaked beige tone and a naturally heathered surface. The close weave gives the colourway a dry, earthy softness rather than a flat plain finish.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted clay beige with gentle golden warmth, broken up by flecks of lighter and deeper fibre throughout the weave. The cloth has an organic, tactile character that reflects its composition of 40% Jute, 35% Hemp, 12% Cotton, 10% Viscose and 3% Polyamide. At approximately 142cm wide, with a vertical repeat of 0cm and a horizontal repeat of about 12cm, it is an easy design to plan across seating, cushions or soft furnishings. The surface looks comfortably robust yet still refined, with enough visual movement to keep the neutral tone from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use Tera Clay to bring warmth to oak, stone and linen-toned schemes, where its earthy beige will sit softly without looking stark. It is especially effective on relaxed upholstery pieces or layered curtains that need a natural, grounded feel.

A warm, earthy neutral that works beautifully across tailored upholstery and relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
