About this fabric

Woven in 97% linen and 3% polyamide, Atmosphere Santal has the dry, slightly nubby character you expect from a linen-rich fabric, with just enough support from the polyamide for added stability. The colour is a warm, earthy rust with brown undertones, giving it a grounded, sun-baked look rather than a bright red cast. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the surface appears plain and uninterrupted, letting the texture do the work. At approximately 139cm wide and with fire code √CM, it is a practical choice for upholstery or softer furnishing schemes where colour and hand feel matter equally.

How to use it

Use this shade to bring warmth to oak, walnut, rattan and stone, or pair it with chalky neutrals to soften its intensity. It also sits well alongside olive, tobacco and faded indigo for a layered, collected look.

A warm, earthy rust tone that works beautifully as a grounding neutral with texture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
