Zen Clay

Timo FabricL9433-02

Zen Clay reads as a calm, sandy beige with a gentle clay warmth and a softly textured, abstract woven surface. The broad-width cloth drapes in relaxed folds, letting the lighter and darker threads catch the light across the pattern.

About this fabric

Woven in 60% linen and 40% cotton, this Larsen fabric has the natural, slightly slubby character you can see in the surface texture, while the abstract motif sits quietly rather than sharply contrasting. The colourway is a muted clay-beige with creamier highlights and a warm, lived-in depth that softens the pattern. With an approximate width of 320cm and a vertical repeat of 37cm by horizontal repeat of 73cm, it is well suited to large-scale curtains or wide upholstery runs where the motif can breathe. The overall handle appears mid-weight and versatile, supported by the Q 8 + T 3 care code and Z fire code supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use it for full-height curtains, Roman blinds, or relaxed upholstery where you want a warm neutral that doesn’t feel stark. Its gentle beige-clay tone pairs especially well with pale timber, chalky paint colours, and brushed metal accents.

A warm neutral with enough body for loose upholstery or softly tailored curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Zen Clay without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
