Paxton Denim

Paxton FabricL9235-06

Paxton Denim shows a pale, softly warmed ground scattered with neat blue-grey marks for a calm, tailored look. The small-scale pattern reads crisp and understated from a distance, but more textural up close.

About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is woven in a 40% cotton, 25% wool, 15% polyester, 12% acrylic and 8% viscose composition, giving the cloth a grounded, slightly nubby handle with a composed finish. The repeat is approximately V 21cm / H 18cm, and the small motif creates a measured rhythm across the width. At around 142cm wide, it is a practical fabric for coordinated furnishing projects, with the cool denim-grey detail sitting lightly against the creamy base. The overall effect is fresh rather than heavy, with enough structure to hold the pattern clearly while still feeling soft and inviting.

How to use it

Use Paxton Denim on an armchair, banquette or Roman blind to bring a cool, refined note into pale timber, chalky paint or brushed metal finishes. Its soft blue-grey marks work especially well with white, stone and muted navy schemes.

The cool blue-grey marks keep this light ground calm and versatile for tailored upholstery or elegant drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
