Myrthus Charcoal

Seki FabricL9175-04

Myrthus Charcoal pairs a pale oatmeal ground with a sharp charcoal zigzag stripe, giving the fabric a clean, graphic rhythm. The contrast feels tailored rather than heavy, with the weave keeping the surface looking crisp and textural.

About this fabric

This Seki collection fabric is woven in a 48% viscose, 36% cotton, 10% linen and 6% polyester blend, with an approximate width of 138cm and a vertical repeat of 15cm and horizontal repeat of 34cm. In this charcoal colourway, the pattern reads as inky and cool against the light ground, with the slubby weave softening the sharpness of the motif. The surface has a dry, tactile look that suits a fabric meant to be seen as much as used. It is a versatile choice where a patterned cloth is wanted without a strong sheen, and the fire code is √CM with care code Q 8 + T 3.

How to use it

Use Myrthus Charcoal to add structure to a calm interior, especially on a pair of armchairs, ottomans or relaxed curtains where the zigzag stripe can stand out. Its cool charcoal and oatmeal palette works well with oak, blackened metal and muted plaster tones.

A crisp charcoal motif on a pale ground brings graphic contrast with a tailored feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Myrthus Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
