About this fabric
This colourway reads as a light cream with a faint beige-clay warmth, lifted by slim horizontal ridges that give the surface its subtle stripe effect. The fabric is composed of 61% Cotton, 38% Viscose and 1% Polyamide, and the 134cm approx width makes it practical for a range of interior projects. With a repeat of V 6cm / H 0cm approx, the design keeps its rhythm understated and easy to work into upholstered pieces or softer furnishing schemes. The overall effect is calm and airy rather than stark, with just enough texture to add depth to plain joinery or patterned room settings.
How to use it
Use Sasaki Clay on relaxed upholstery, occasional chairs or headboards where its pale warmth will soften darker timbers and stone finishes. It also works well in drapery schemes when you want a light-filtering neutral that feels less flat than a plain cream.
