About this fabric

Woven in a substantial blend of 36% cotton, 32% virgin wool, 19% alpaca and 13% silk, this fabric has the refined hand and gentle depth you would expect from those fibres. The swatch shows a deep tobacco brown with warm undertones, softened by the wool and alpaca content and lifted slightly by the silk's understated sheen. Its plain structure and zero repeat keep the look calm and versatile, while the 141cm approximate width makes it practical for larger upholstery or curtain runs. With no performance features noted and a √BM fire code, it suits interiors where a natural, tailored finish matters.

How to use it

Use this tobacco tone on upholstery to anchor pale linens, parchment neutrals and antique timber. It also works beautifully as full-length drapery where a warm, grounded brown is needed to soften a room.

A warm, versatile brown that brings depth and softness to tailored interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
