Nilton FabricL9131-05

Alston Toffee is a softly mottled, warm brown fabric with a gentle matte-lustre that gives the surface subtle movement. The tonal weave reads as an easy, earthy neutral rather than a flat solid.

About this fabric

Woven in 65% viscose, 25% cotton and 10% polyester, Alston Toffee has a tactile, lightly slubbed look with no visible repeat, making the surface feel calm and continuous. The colour sits in a warm toffee-brown range, with softer beige-brown highlights that catch the light across the weave. At approximately 142cm wide, it is a practical textile for a range of interior uses, and the 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat keeps pattern matching straightforward. Its relaxed texture and midweight feel make it suited to upholstery or drapery where a natural, understated finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a sofa, banquette or curtains to bring warmth to oak, walnut and parchment-toned schemes. It works especially well in rooms that need an inviting neutral with a little tonal depth.

A warm, easy neutral that adds depth without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
