About this fabric

Horato Indigo from Larsen’s Paxton collection is a 144cm wide fabric made from 48% jute, 32% linen, 12% cotton and 8% polyester, with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The weave has a dry, tactile surface that suits the earthy fibre blend, while the indigo pattern sits in irregular horizontal bands rather than a neat, even stripe. In this colourway the blue reads cool and grounded, softened by the warm beige base so the overall effect feels textural rather than high contrast. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for interiors where the natural look of the weave is part of the appeal.

How to use it

Use this colourway on cushions, benches or occasional upholstery where the indigo bands can sit against timber, stone and linen. It also works well in a room with relaxed coastal or contemporary country styling, thanks to the balance of blue depth and natural ground.

Pair with pale oak and chalky neutrals to let the indigo stripe read crisp and tailored.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
