About this fabric
Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a close, even pile with subtle tonal variation visible across the swatch. The saturated magenta shade reads jewel-like rather than pastel, while the nap creates darker brushed areas and gentle highlights. It is classified as Contract upholstery grade and is machine washable, making the specification especially practical for upholstered use. The fabric has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy and can be treated to contract grade.
How to use it
Use this deep magenta colourway on a compact sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard where its wine-dark shading can bring richness without introducing a pattern. Pair it with warm timber, smoked finishes or muted neutrals to let the velvet remain the focal colour.
