About this fabric

Woven in 94% polyester and 6% acrylic, this 138cm-wide chenille has a compact, nubby surface that reads clearly in the close-up swatch. The grey colourway moves between soft silver-grey and deeper graphite flecks, creating a cool, understated finish. Rated for Contract and Domestic upholstery, it is suited to seating where the tactile weave can be appreciated. ELB3524 is machine washable, and its Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool, layered grey on a contemporary sofa, occasional chair or dining seat, pairing it with pale timber, brushed metal and chalky neutrals. The subtle ribbed texture adds interest to a restrained monochrome scheme without introducing a strong pattern.

A softly mottled mid-grey chenille with a neat horizontal texture for contemporary upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
