About this fabric

The chenille construction has a compact, tactile weave of short, closely spaced loops and threads, visible as a subtle horizontal texture across the swatch. Its dominant shade is a muted burnt terracotta, with charcoal, taupe and lighter coral fibres creating a softly weathered effect as the light catches the pile. At 138cm wide, this fabric is suitable for Contract and Domestic upholstery. It is made from 94% polyester and 6% acrylic, is machine washable, and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFRĀ® flame retardancy that can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm, earthy terracotta on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its taupe-grey flecks can soften the intensity of the colour. It pairs naturally with warm timber, aged metal, cream upholstery and deeper charcoal accents.

A burnished terracotta chenille with a closely woven, softly mottled surface for comfortable everyday upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
