About this fabric

The compact horizontal weave creates a tactile, softly irregular texture, with the chenille pile catching small highlights across the dark red surface. Made from 94% polyester and 6% acrylic, this 138cm-wide fabric is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy; it can be treated to contract grade. The overall effect is a saturated burgundy with a shaded, almost plum-like depth rather than a bright scarlet red.

How to use it

Use this dark wine colourway to upholster a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its small-scale texture can add depth without introducing a separate motif. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and muted neutrals to balance the burgundy-red intensity.
